All our packaging is recycled or FSC certified
You read that right! Our dustbags and hygiene liners are made of recycled content, our hangtags are FSC certified. FSC certification ensures that products come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social, and economic benefits.

Our founder
Marjolein Schoot Uiterkamp is no stranger to the fashion industry — or to the urgent need for change within it. With a background that spans high-end brands and sustainability leadership, including her time as Global Sustainability Manager at Karl Lagerfeld, she’s seen it all: the good, the bad, and the wasteful. Working with icons like Amber Valletta and the Cara Delevingne team on sustainable collections, she witnessed firsthand that great style and ethical production can go hand in hand.
That’s exactly why she created Billie Swim. She knew the demand for high quality, long lasting products was out there. The world didn’t need more swimwear — it needed better swimwear.
